Have joy like a rabbit.

Some days, life feels like a rabbit race.

One minute, you’re peacefully sipping your coffee, relishing the quiet, and the next—you’re dodging chaos like a rabbit zigzagging through an open field alluding a predator. Someone forgot their lunch. The toddler just used your Bible as a coloring book. Your inbox is filling up faster than you can breathe. And—because life likes irony—your phone dies just as you’re trying to text “I’m running late” to the office.

Life demands faith, flexibility, and a good sense of humor.

Which is exactly why we need to talk about rabbits.

These little creatures might not seem like the best spiritual role models, but if you take a closer look, you’ll find that God wove profound wisdom into their furry little lives.

Faith and Loyalty: Trusting Even in Uncertainty

Rabbits live in a world where danger is everywhere. They are prey animals, meaning just about everything bigger than them sees them as a potential snack. Yet despite this, they don’t live paralyzed in fear.

Instead, they trust their instincts, their burrows, and their community.

Wild rabbits create deep networks of tunnels called warrens, where they live in family groups. These underground homes provide safety, shelter, and stability in an unpredictable world. No matter how chaotic things get above ground, rabbits trust that their home is secure.

That’s faith.

"The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe." – Proverbs 18:10

How often do we panic when life feels uncertain?
How often do we let fear drive our decisions, rather than faith?
